Buddha Temple: The Mahabodhi temple is a UNESCO world heritage site and lots of securities are in place. It is a must-visit place and one of the best tourist destinations in Bihar. Tourists from across the globe visit here throughout the year. The place is very clean and calm located on the bank of the Falgu river. This is one of the four important places related to Lord Buddha as he attained enlightenment here below the Bodhi Tree (Tree of awakening). The tree is just next to Mahabodhi temple and considered that if the leaf of the tree falls on any individual, his/her wish will get fulfilled. Temple visiting Timing: 05 AM to 09.00 PM - Everyday. Best time to visit: All time. During the summer it's very hot. Entry Fees: There is no entry fee for general darshan but you have to pay Rs. 100 for Camera and Rs. 300 for the Video camera.
