          Sri Prasanna Meenakshi & Sri Someshwara Temple: Sri Prasanna Meenakshi & Sri Someshwara Temple is a Hindu temple within a campus. Sri Prasanna Meenakshi is dedicated to Goddess Meenakshi (Durga) and  Sri Someshwara Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is an ancient temple that is around 1200 years old and built by the  Chola dynasty.   It is located in a village called Shivanasamudra in Mandya districts Karnataka (India). Temple is very clean and well maintained. The main attraction in the temple is Sri Chakra inside the Sri Prasanna Meenakshi temple and people visit there for a special ritual to the Chakra. Make sure to bring puja-related items along with you as you will not find any shop there.  Holy river Cauvery is very close to the temple.          Shivanasamudra waterfalls: Shivanasamudra Waterfalls is a waterfall on the holy river Cauvery. It is situated in Karnataka (India). It is also the boundary between two districts called Chamrajnagar and Mandya. During rainy seasons, water flows all around but two spots from water drops are known as Barachukki and Gaganachukki. Barachukki Falls in Kollegal Taluk Chamarajanagar district and Gaganachukki Falls in Malavalli Taluk Mandya district This area is also famous as it was the first hydroelectric power station in Asia, which was set up in 1902. A Beautiful sandy place where you can take bath. You will find changing rooms there but they are not maintained. There are many temples nearby and people take bath here before going to the temple. There is a  dedicated place to perform Shradh-related rituals and many people visit there during Pitripaksha. Local people have arranged boating facility which you can use by paying some amounts as their livelihood is depending on that.
