त्रयंबकेश्वर ज्योर्तिलिंग - Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga Temple: Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga Temple is one of 12 Jyotirlinga in India. It is an ancient Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. It has references in Shiva Puran. The Linga has three cuts in it and they are considered as Brahma, Vishnu, and Mahesh (Shiva). It is also believed that River Godavari flows just below the linga touching the bottom part of it.

This temple is located in Trimbak in Nashik District in Maharashtra. The current temple was built by Nana Saheb Baji Rao Peshwa. The origin of the Godavari river is just a few kilometers from the temple.

The temple is located between three hills called Brahmagiri, Nilagiri, and Kalagiri. It is one of the very important pilgrimages for Hindus and one of the best tourist destinations near Nashik in Maharashtra.

General Darshan -05:30 AM to 09:00 PM (Every Day)
The Mangal Aarti - 5:30 AM to 06:00 AM.
Special Rituals like Rudrabhishek, Mrityunjaya Mantra, and Laghurudrabhishek, etc - 7:00 AM to 9 AM.
The Madhyana Pooja or the Noon Pooja happens at 01:00 PM.
The Sandhya Pooja or the Sayam Pooja is performed at 07:00 PM – 09:00 PM.

Best time to visit: All time. During the summer, it's very hot.

Entry Fees: No entry fee. You have to pay only if you want to perform special rituals.

On every Monday of the month, a procession is carried out in a Palki, which carries the silver Panch Mukhi Mukhota from the Trimbakeshwar Temple to the Kushavarta tank and back. The Golden Crown of Lord Shiva can be seen every Monday at 4:30 PM.
