Näset Beach @ Gothenburg (Sweden)

 

Näset Beach:

Näset Beach is a small but very beautiful sea beach located in Västra Frölunda, Gothenburg (Sweden). The area is surrounded by rocks and you will find Sand in a very small area. It looks like sand is brought there from somewhere else. The area is very calm and they have maintained it in a very good manner.

Sea is very calm and waves are missing. You will feel that you are near a lake. So many islands are there near to the beach where you can go by ferry. They are small villages and you will find small and decent bars and restaurants.

You need to carry your snacks as you will not find it there. For a restaurant, you need to walk around 2 km. You will enjoy Iranian pizza there which is called Pizzeria.

This is an ideal place for a day visit and I am sure you will love this place.

No such special occasion but during Christmas and January, Weekends and holidays you will see it more crowded.

Parking Places: Huge parking place is available near the beach. You have to pay the parking charges. Make sure to get a travel card and recharge it which will be helpful for paying bus charges, parking charges, etc.

 

How to reach  Näset Beach: 

Buses: Bus facilities are good from Gothenburg and you can find many buses which will drop you around 2 km from the beach and you have to walk to the beach.

Private Taxis: The availability of private taxis is very bad near the beach. Hiring taxis are quite costly there.

Accommodation : 

Just next to the beach, the residential area starts and you will not find any hotels around it. You can stay in the main city Gothenburg which is around 18km. Hotels are quite costly there.

Food & Restaurant :

Nauset Beach is located in an isolated place and you will not find any restaurant or food court around it. You have to walk around 1 km to find a restaurant. Finding vegetarian food is quite tough there.
