संजय गाँधी जैविक उद्यान (Sanjay Gandhi Botanical Garden) Zoo:
संजय गाँधी जैविक उद्यान or Sanjay Gandhi Botanical Garden or Patna Zoo is the greenest area located on Bailey Road in Patna Bihar and spread on 153 acres of land. It has many animals and verities of trees. Some trees are even thousands of year old trees.
In 1969, 34 acres of land from the Governer house was provided by the then Governor of Bihar Sri Nityanand Kanungo to make a Garden.
in 1972, 58.2 acres of land was allotted by PWD and 60.75 acres of forest land was alloted by the revenue department to expand the garden.
In 1973, this garden was converted into a Botanical Garden (Zoo) and opened for the general public.
This is worth visiting a place in Patna. Everyone who visits Patna wants to be there at least for few hours. Please visit the place and feel the nature.
Visiting Timing: 05 AM to 06.00 PM - Everyday. MONDAY Closed.
Best time to visit: All time. During the summer it's a little hot.
