Petrovaradin Fortress is a beautiful fortress located at the bank of river Danube in Petrovaradin, Novi Sad (Serbia). It was constructed in 1692 - 1780. It has many tunnels and 16 kilometers of underground countermine system.

In 1991, It was recognized as a Cultural-Historical Units of Great Importance list of the Republic of Serbia.

It has great historical importance dating from 19,000 to 15,000 BC. There is also a very big clock which is visible from a far distance. In earlier days, it was being used by fishermen to see the time.

This is one of the very famous tourist destinations in Novi Sad and manyy visitors visit there every day.

Airport: The nearest airport is Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport (BEG) which is 37.8 miles / 60.9 kilometers from Novi Sad. It is an international airport that is well connected with many airports across the globe.

Train: Novi Sad is the main Railway station which is well connected to other cities. You can use taxis to reach Petrovaradin Fortress.

Buses: Bus facilities are very good in Novi Sad. You will get a bus route guide free there which can be used to know the timing and destination.

Taxis: If you are new to Moscow, better to use Taxis to reach Red Square. You can hire a self-drive taxi but parking is a little problem there.
