Shri Dev Bodgeshwar Sansthan:

Sri Dev Bhodhgeshwar temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to the Kanakeshwar baba also known as Lord Bodgeshwar. Locally it is called Bongini or Bodgini.

Lord Bodgeshwar is considered the guardian of Mapusa and the people of Mapusa believe that he protects Mapusa and its people. During Amawas (Moonless) night, one can sometimes see the torch held by Lord Bodgeshwar as he roams the fields near the temple. 

Temple is situated at Mapusa on Calangute - Mapusa  Road. Its construction is made with white marble which gives great look. It is surrounded by lots of greenery and mild air welcome you there during the evening. Temple is very clean and maintained well.

There is a big hall which is used for other rituals like marriages, upanayana sanskar, etc.

Best time to visit: All-time. During summer it is a bit hot. 

Entry Fees:  No for general darshan. You have to pay only if you want to perform some special rituals.
