Malpe Beach is one of the very famous and big beaches located in a small village called Malpe under Udupi District in Karnataka State (India). 

Authorities and local people have maintained it very well and expect the same from their tourists. 

The ferry ride from Malpe to St. Mary Island is the main attraction for tourists there.  Also, there is a man-made walkway of about 500 meters in the sea and you can use it to have a better view and photography.

During the bath in the sea, you have to be very careful as waves are very strong and dangerous especially during the rainy season. There is a good arrangement for a clean water bath and changing room.

It is in the Arabian Sea, an important port, and a major fishing harbor on the Karnataka coast. also an ideal tourist destination for a couple of days as you can visit many more nearby places around it.

Visiting Timing:  24 Hrs but police will not allow it during the night for safety reasons.

Airport: The nearest airport is Mangalore which is around 59 km. You can take private taxis outside the airport or a bus from Mangalore city to reach Udupi.
